How far is the nearest airport?
One mile from the South Rim entrance and just under 22 miles from the resort, the closest airport is Grand Canyon National Park Airport, however it is primarily used for scenic tours and charter flights. Larger airports with scheduled commercial airline service are Flagstaff Pulliam Airport (62 miles), Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (204 miles), Phoenix Mesa Airport (236 miles), and Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (247 miles).

We are located 24 miles south of the entrance to Grand Canyon National Park.
Do you sell passes to Grand Canyon National Park?
You can purchase a day or week pass to the park at the entrance, in advance through the National Park Service here, or at the Chevron station in Grand Canyon Junction, less than a mile from our resort. Purchasing your pass in advance helps you avoid lines at the park entrance.
Is there on-site dining at the resort?
The resorts’ food truck offers breakfast and dinner daily. Upgraded for the 2024 season, the adjacent Dining Dome offers a convenient place to comfortably enjoy your meal. Hours of operation are 7-10 am for breakfast and 5-10 pm for dinner. You can find our menu here.
What is the terrain like at the resort?
Clear Sky Resorts Grand Canyon’s grounds are left as undisturbed and natural as possible. You will encounter natural desert landscaping and cinder paths that lead to our Sky Domes. Be prepared for a little dust on your footwear – sturdy shoes are recommended.
Will we see wildlife?
Grand Canyon National Park and the surrounding area are home to deer, elk, desert bighorn sheep, coyotes, gray foxes and a large variety of reptiles, birds and rodents. PLEASE DO NOT FEED ANY WILDLIFE! The National Park Service recommends that you stay a minimum distance of 25 yards from most wildlife and 100 yards from predators like bears and mountain lions.
Is there parking at my Sky Dome?
We provide free designated guest parking areas a short distance from your Sky Dome. We also provide concierge service by golf cart to and from the parking areas to your Sky Dome for you and your luggage.
How far apart are the Sky Domes?
The average distance between our Sky Domes is approximately 65 feet. The Sky Domes have been positioned for maximum privacy and scenic views during your stay.
